The San Francisco Free Clinic depends upon its volunteers to enhance and extend the services provided by our staff. Because we have a dual mission of caring for the uninsured and inspiring others to do similar work, we view our volunteer program as a critical means of accomplishing both goals.

Many of our volunteers have been with us since the early years, and volunteer work at the clinic has become extremely popular, so much so that we do have a waiting list for many on-site positions and internships.

If you are a specialist physician interested in becoming one of our network of volunteers providing services from their own offices, please contact us, as we can always use more help!
