The San Francisco Free Clinic is a private, nonprofit organization that receives no insurance payments or government funds. Our funding depends entirely on financial donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations. 

We believe that people have a basic right to live free of suffering from treatable or preventable illness, regardless of their ability to pay.

Every donation to the Clinic helps provide vaccinations for those who couldn’t otherwise afford them, screens patients for cancer and heart disease, and cares for those with chronic conditions like high blood pressure and high cholesterol. 

When You Contribute

When you contribute to SFFC, you’re helping supplement the contributions of local physicians who generously donate their services and medical suppliers who provide essential medical equipment and supplies at no cost.
